Vivi in a Red Swinsuit.
Summer is a blazing hot hellscape, and so Vivi suits up in her red swimsuit to hit the beach... With a sword for some reason, until I removed it. This version looks different, but that's because I'm working on a new design known as V6. I made her looks more bunny-like instead of this human-bunny hybrid with elongated fingers & paper-thin ribbons called her ears.
To begin, I fire up good ol' Design Doll. I had to change the proportion sizes to better suit the new reference sheet I made for Vivi.
The Drawing. Now the thing is that this ISN'T based off that bunny girl I drew a lot since 2018, but I'm working on a revamped design to make it a little less human-like, hence the detailed ears & facial features.
...In case you're wondering, this is the portion of the Reference sheet. Note the lack of hands, since this was taken from a slightly earlier version of it. She still had human proportions still, but that's intentional.
WIP. Some proportional changes, better suiting the ref page I got for the model I'm working on. The white is intentional for tracing the drawing. Now the mouth is where I need to work on, since making a good joyful smile in an angle seems to be dire.
Updated version, with some color & proportional changes. I ditched the sword, since it's a little out of place for a pinup. Another is the swimsuit now had one strap, but that's because it doesn't look good with two, with the updated design.
The final pic, with some color changes, shading, and some adjustments. I was thinking about a contrasting background, but I don't think red & green would fit, so a gradient lavender would do. I also bring back the sword, which you could see in the BG
