A Cute-Sized Rally Car (+WIPS)
Welp, it's been a while since my last bit. I decided to compile my recent work here just to make sure I exist. Anyways, I modelled a cute-sized rally car that sparks chaotic energy that makes you question what was I thinking about the livery choices.
Front-left side.
Front-right with the headlights folded.
Back-left with an overhead view
Back-right with a lower shot to see the exhaust pipes a little more.
To begin the process, I fire up good ol' Blender and start the canvas with some subdivided cubes, using a reference.
Then I added the wheel wells (fenders) and the wheels themselves, but not before I shortened the car's length by 30%.
For laughs, I threw in this unnecessarily detailed supercharger on the hood. Y'know, on a mid-engine rally car.
For realsies, I actually installed a big roof scoop and the pop-up up-n-down headlights.
The back side, complete with center mufflers.
After adjusting a few things, smooth the polygons, replaced the wheels, added the front lights, it's ready to be textured.
Back side. So by then, this is where the texturing and the madness begins.
So good question: Why yellow? Well, I got a Hot Wheels Stratos with the same color. Am I gonna explain why Peter Griffin is on it? No.
Ay, Beter, what is "quniq?" It's pinup but flipped. Got the dumb idea to make a pinup piece slapdashed on the door.
