It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, here's the odd process of my rabbit girl... Rabbit girl I didn't bother going through the looks of the ref sheet, let alone finish the clothes before scrapping for a better, low-poly one.
To start off is the tough choice for me: The hairstyle. Experimenting the styles, and the close contenders were A, E, and F. F took the spot.
The main outfit. The profile side is more of a rough estimation when I get to the model.
Autumn outfit.
"Mace Casuals."
Motorcycle outfit. This one I never really finished, because I didn't draw in a helmet... or Motorcycle. I'll get to it, one day...
The first attempt to make a 3D model. I used a method known as blocking, where I inserted a bunch of spheres & morph them into my liking.
After 2 attempts & study using a different model, I began the main modelling process.
After some time, model the face, hair, and other parts, I was experimenting on the shading for a bit. I even rigged the UV for her eyes.
Here's the full model. Added temporary underwear just to show it all. I updated the hair which I flipped the setup.
Backside.
Different outfit. I've yet to rig the whole thing, but I need to show off the facial expressions using shape keys.
I'm also messing with the backgrounds because it's fun to change the whole world lighting. Oh right, I started rigging.
I rigged the whole thing, but since I wanted this to be (mostly) SFW, I omit the pics. Now I added clothes.
I also disregard the shorts because I was lazy. Pants were quite finnicky to work with.
I also added shoes.
Back of said shoes. The ASUZA brand was a recurring fake brand I had laying around since I modelled a different character and I needed something symmetrical, and pop out ASUZA.
This here is a behind the scene piece where I animated this bit for Lost Legends Season 2. This was the first time in a while I ever made a proper segment.
The last render I did for V8. It's a cute pose in a fancy background. I had an alt pic where she sports a different shirt.
