LUZ (The Owl House)

So... First art piece for this new decade, and it begins with the first cartoon I've watched: Dana Terrace's The Owl House. It was a nice show, although during the time of this piece, there's only 2 episodes & another will air on Friday. Luz is this weird but passionate girl who stumble upon another world and met a witch named Eda. She would later decides that she wanted to be a witch, and that's probably the most vague premise for the show. Eventually, she's gonna get her own staff, but not exactly the one you see here, that's my rendition.

The final piece. A nice rendition of drawing Luz, but shading on Inkscape can be awful at times.

The sketch. It's a nice sketch, and initially I was thinking about adding details to her hair & staff. Note the Owl head was once facing towards you.

The WIP, no shading, and thin outlines. The grid floor I used as a reference to make the shadow (which is just a crudely drawn version of her). Some minor proportions are changed, mainly her shirt/hoodie and the staff.

Vivi as a reference point. Mainly used for shading & proportions.
