Vivian's Bike (w/ Progress & bonus)
Don't really have a proper name besides "Vivian's Bike," which is what it says: It's my bunny girl's motorcycle. Calling it the "Usagi-Ko CR71-70cc" written on the motor wouldn't be a catchy title. The total polycount for this bike is just 1380 (excluding the floor), and only used 2 textures: One main texture & one specular texture.
(July 6th/7th) To start, there's no reference sheet of what the bike is based off of, apart from one: A late 60s Honda CB750K0 Cafe bike. Fitting since Vivi runs a cafe.
Fully modeled, but it's all solid.
(July 10th) Reduced some of the polycount, and made this composition by making 4 separate renders: 3 for the RGB channels, and one black & white layer.
(July 14th) Started off some textures. It's rough, I know.
(July 16th) Some improvements on the textures & model.
(July 18th) The final render in high rez.
BONUS: This ain't the first attempt to model a bike. This was meant to be a mid-90s cruiser bike. This sketch I think was done way before Sept. 2020.
First attempt of a model. It was going to have more polygons than 1500 tris.
Why the curious design choice, was a simple reason: I don't know how to make a decent motor myself.
Dunno why I wanted a carrying rack for this.
This was what's done before I scrapped it, as of September 23rd, 2020.
BONUS: Vivi's riding her low-poly bike. Unfortunately, the ride is uncomfortable and the octagon wheels broke after a couple miles.
