Inkscapetober 2020 - All artwork + Extras

This here is all the art I made daily all of October 2020. All of them, plus some extras which I haven't shown anywhere else.

This here is my official list of things to draw daily. This was the initial intention, but when you look further down, you'll why why I made some changes. There's one error which is Day 21 which is supposed to be "Fear."

Day 1 starts out quite late which is "A Logo," which is mine. The M2 logo is recolored like a piece of pumpkin with a little red splatters which I made with stars.

This is a simple idea because I was playing SSX at the time. I was trying a little too hard to make it detailed, but realizing that simple is better at times. Not to mention it fits with the theme.

An Avatar can be many things, but it's usually a persona of some kind. I don't have one per se, but the closest is Vivi. Kinda made her too lanky on this one.

This one is simple. This guy is SQA (pronounced Ska), an abstract being inspired by Rayman who was created on a Pico-8.

This here is one of the 4 thematic changes. It was compassion until it means pity or sympathy, which I don't have an angle. So I made a bun instead, resembling Vivi's oldest design.

The first of 4 days based on the time of day. Lots of gradients, a minimal forest setting, and some wizard doing some ice magic.

This one is kinda unique as it's theme is flow, and I just stuff this piece full of tangents Think of it as a track, it's not a good track if you stick some blind 90 degree corners after a longback straight.

I'm disappointed on this one as I was struggling to get a good angle for this. I was going for a shot where it looks up at the lady here. She's Dez, btw.

A wizard faces a ronin in a snow-covered forest. Both are magic users, and as the pile of snow drops from the branch, the battle begins.

Day 10 is fade... Fading into darkness as this wizard continues fighting the demonic beast through an endless pit.

This one is the most unique: The car here was drawn using a tablet. Yeah, it's not surprising, but I never used a drawing tablet beforehand. I don't have one still, but my sister let me borrow hers. Makes a difference.

One of the quickest pieces. A city piece where a few RC cars race from roof to roof and into the building. This is based off my unfinished Re-Volt track, Midwich Alley.

All angular, no curves, but a new guy in my OC gallery: The Ranger.

This one is my least favourite as it's kinda shit. This is based on a drawing which was supposed to be the thunbnail for one of the Karted videos, specifically Karted Round 3.

I like this piece as 1: It's cute, and 2, it's one of the better ones.

Snek. It's a Viper, and it's sacrilegious to make a Viper with no stripes, it feels wrong.

The only pice that's NSFW, but then again who gets turned on by bare backs?

E R E C T. This word also means "construct" or "fabricate," and thus the wizard from earlier could fabricate objects like a billy club.

So how are your eyeballs doing?

My best piece of the bunch, and it's an artstyle that isn't mine. The style is based on one of my favourite artists, Rhea Burtram who draw some good pieces. One thing that lacks here is the tapering, but all n' all, it looks good. Took me all day, too.

Another theme change, which is fine. No, I didn't correct the theme on my rules, but yeah. This also started out late.

To experiment the idea of strict colors, I made this Clint Eastwood-inspired character with brown and dark brown. The shading is based off BRUTE! aka: the artist who did the album artwork for KMFDM.

To amp up the stakes, there's 3 colors. Throughout the whole thing, there's no fanart so far, but I just wanna draw this goat boi.

Yeah, remember the subseries where I made artpieces based off the time of day? Then again, DUSK is also the name of a damn good Boomer Shooter.

I don't have a clue what the hell I just drew. This would fit to the theme of FEAR, but yeah.

Buny

This here is me taking the piss out of Cyberpunk 2077's delay after the developers promised they won't do it... So this here is an old sketch.

I was trying to think on what guy I should draw, but I drew The Ranger but younger instead.

The most minimalist as you could just make glowing white lines to make some Vib-Ribbon art.

This here is the one that stands out as there is isn't made in Inkscape, contrary to the challenge's name. Made a simple Bob Ross piece of a farm. It's difficult to imitate traditional painting with digital photoshops.
